⚠️ Quend

The footbridge on Rue de la Dune aux Loups in Quend, located along The Vélomaritime (EV4), is now closed to access.
The structure has become too fragile and poses a safety risk.
While awaiting repair work, users must take the roadway for a short stretch, then rejoin the small cycle path connection leading to Route de la Plage towards Quend.

A NETWORK OF PROFESSIONALS
Cycling in the Somme Bay is also in partnership with Somme Tourisme, the animation of a network of cycling professionals through information meetings, communication tools, training .... The network includes: hosts, bicycle rental companies, tourist offices and responds to a national label: "Accueil Vélo" based on a quality charter and designed to promote the use and reception of the bike in the Baie de Somme.

Goals
- to guarantee a privileged reception and services in adequacy with the cyclotourists' expectations.
- to enable cyclotourists to identify places suitable for cycling.

ELECTRIC BIKE DESTINATION
Take the cycle paths and discovery loops of the Baie de Somme, without getting tired thanks to electric bikes.
The "Terres et Merveilles" tourist office has set up a network of battery recharging establishments for electric bikes from Rue to Crécy via Argoules or Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont, Le Crotoy, etc.
You can also find all along your routes rental electric bikes.

NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN PROJECTS

A EuroVeloroute: the EuroVelo 4
EuroVelo 4 is a European cycle route that runs from Roscoff in Brittany to Kiev in Ukraine. On the national territory, the latter is declined under the name: Vélomaritime. It extends over 1,475 km from the Channel to the North Sea. Put a link to the map + flyer

A European partnership "Belgian Franco": Eurocyclo
The challenge of the Eurocyclo project is to allow the crossing of the Authie, between the departments of the Somme and Pas-de-Calais at the place called Pont Cailloux, through the realization of a bridge for soft mobility allowing a continuation of the EuroVelo 4 route.
